Dopo la bella giornata passata tra i templi di Bagan, ho deciso di tornare a Mandaley spezzando il viaggio in due giorni in modo da poter esplorare qualche villaggio al di fuori della via principe
After the nice day I spent among Bagan’s temples, I decided to go back to Mandalay, splitting the trip into two days so that I could explore some villages far from the main road.
E così dopo qualche ora di moto mi sono ritrovato più o meno scegliendo le stradine a caso in questo villaggio per la verità abbastanza grosso, così grosso che ho trovato pure una versione semplificata del ”Lunapark”. SI semplificata perchè guardando attentamente la giostre non vanno con la corrente ma a spinta e contrappesi.
And so, after a few hours by motorbike, taking small roads almost randomly, I ended up in this village, which was actually quite big, so big that I even found a simplified version of an amusement park. Yes, simplified, because if you look carefully carousels do not work through electricity but thanks to thrust and counterweight.

Sempre tra una stradina e l’altra ho trovato altri bei villaggi e scorci, ma lo cosa interessante è vedere come dopo una breve pioggia le campagne si allagano formando qui e li dei bei laghetti.
Crossing small roads, I found some other nice villages and views, but the most interesting thing is to see how, after a short rain, the countryside gets flooded and small lakes appear here and there.
E siccome dopo 4 ore di viaggio non ho ancora fermato nessuno per farmi una chiaccherata appena ho visto questa coppia, mi sono fermato. Come prima cosa vedendomi fare delle foto si sono messi in posa. Poi il marito mi ha chesto di seguirlo perchè voleva mostrarmi il laghetto dietro casa sua.
And, since after 4 hours driving I hadn’t talked to anyone, as I saw this couple I stopped. First, when they saw I was taking pictures, they posed. Then the husband asked me to follow him because he wanted to show me the small lake behind his house.
Così dopo un breve sosta e chiaccherata di 30 min ci siamo fatti una foto e sono ripartito.
So, after a small break and a 30 minutes chat, we took a picture altogether and I left.
Dopo un altro po mi sono fermato a visitare un tempio super colorato e pieno di animali in pietra. Gironzolando qui e li ho trovato il custode con il figlio che orgogliosamente mi ha raccontato che il tempio l’ha colorato tutto lui.
After I while I stopped in order to visit a very colorful temple, filled with animals made of stone. While walking around, I met the guardian with his son, who proudly explained to me that he had painted the whole temple.
Come ultima tappa.. mi sono imbattuto nella stupa più grande che ho visto fino ad ora.. veramente grande !!
As a last stop…I ran into the biggest stupa I have seen so far…really big!!
